In Gigiri this is the best bet - clearly above the Village Market forex rates and always slightly above the forex bureau in Warwick Centre. As important though, is the owner. Clearly a smart guy who will be happy to talk about his hopes for Obama, the future of Kenya, or the Central Bank of Kenya. Beware that you have to bargain extra hard if you're a musungo. Never accept the rates on the blackboard. Changing multiple clan USD 100s will give the best rate for KES.
